This machine is basically the same as Accubanker's AB6000, only less expensive. On top of the three counterfeit detection functions, it offers variable counting speed and denomination value input -something that very few other models do. Overall, this is an excellent machine - works and looks very professional. I have owned this machine for about a year now, and very satisfied so far.

This is a great bill counter! After reading reviews of various brands, models, etc... I decided to shell out the extra bucks and purchase this machine. Wow! This is well worth the money. I just received the machine and it is really nice. Everything has been extremely well thought out on this unit. For example: Front loading definitely is more convenient and quicker than if I had purchased a rear loading unit. Even the touch screen buttons are so much better than the other types of buttons. How often have you seen cashiers at the bank frustrated with a counting machine? I saw reviews where people decided to save $200 or $300 only to have the machine breakdown in six months, get frustrated trying to feed old bills, etc... After using this machine, I would recommend it over the CR1. I know there are a lot of people out there that will purchase the other unit because it is cheaper. But from what I read, it is easier to break. It has a lot of plastic parts.
Think about all of the time you spend counting dollar bills. That cost money too. I honestly think this is the best machine to buy unless you are willing to shell out $5,000. It's that good.

"Goin Down Slow"
I previously owned a Cassida 6600, found it on a site on the internet. I did not know a lot about counting machines but this one sounded good. It worked ok for a little while but then it just stopped counting and accepting the bills. Sent it back for repairs. It never really worked right again. Constantly had to stop pull bills out and then just stopped working altoghther.
This time with a little more knowledge, I decided to try and find/buy a top quality machine.
After researching several sites and calling a few companies including Carnation I settled on this unit.
It is their top of the line model. When I hooked it up and turned it on I immediatley saw the difference.
This machine has a digital readout, an automatic self test when you first turn it on. Then put the bills in to be counted and WHOOSH!!
Soooo fast and accurate! I count old-new and every bill in between. This machine handles them all.
The build quality seems excellant and it is easy to reach someone at the company by phone for questions.
Spend a little more money and have the machine last a lot longer.

We purchased this machine for our convenience store. I have been using it for about three weeks now and have yet to find a discrepancy with its counting accuracy. I was hesitant about purchasing a cash counter due to the poor reviews posted on the lower end models. My decision to purchase this unit was based on the excellent reviews posted. This machine has become a a very important part of our office environment.
