 Disappointing coin sorterOct 23, 2009

This product broke in a very short time. It also did a very poor job of getting the number of coins correct in any wrapper. It is difficult to pull our to get at the coins. I was very disappointed and would never buy another one like it. I have already had to discard it when a small piece of the plastic in the back broke making it so the coins would not go into the sleeves correctly. It is cheaply made for a product that is not all that inexpensive.

The machine sorts coins properly. When the coin tubes are full, excess coins are supposed to overflow and fall into a rear chamber. However, excess coins piled up above the filler tubes. This prevented retrieval of the coins by depressing the lower front/coin tube support. I thought that maybe an overflow coin had jammed the sorter internally. However, I have disassembled the sorter an found no coin jamming it. I'm going to further disassemble and try to determine the cause of malfunction.

We have had 3 or 4 coin sorters and they were a lot of work or just didn't work at all. This one is fast and always sends coins where they should be. This is our own little savings account for trips or things for around the house. Be surprised how fast the money adds up. Highly recommend if you do the same kind of thing.

AMAZING HOW QUICKLY THOSE NICKLES AND DIMES ADD UP AND THIS BANK IS AN EXCELLENT REMEDY FOR ALL THAT LOSE CHANGE. WOULD RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY.
